Find yourself immerced in a clinic at The Lafontaine Equestrian Centre and you will come away with the sensation of being somewhat lost in time... Horses have a way of doing that with us.
The Lafontaine Equestrian Centre is located just outside Midland, Ontario in beautiful heartland off Georgin Bay where the paddocks are always green, a cool breeze blows, and the hayfields are second to none.
We are a small facility that is proud to be able to offer a safe, clean, and well managed venue for horse training or riding clinics, equine assisted learning workshops, as well as workshops for all of the various equine holistic disciplines.
Our beautifully restored barn and new 70' x 130' arena is surrounded by three large grass paddocks. The dovetail chink log cabin offers an extremely comfortable, unique environment in which to conduct the discussion portion of the workshop.
Meals, home cooked by your hosts, can be made to accommodate most dietary requirements.
Since our inception in 2007 by way of the Equine Assisted Personal Development (E.A.P.D.) clinics, conducted by Chris Irwin at our facility, we have had visitors from as far away as England, The Netherlands, Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, amongst many Canadians from across the country.
